Visit the famous Black Church, considered the largest gothic church in Eastern Europe. You cannot miss it. The Black Church was built between 1383 and 1480 on the site of a former church. Actually, you don’t really need a map in Brasov, because most of the attractions are located within the old city walls (just steps away from our apartments) and it really fun to get lost in the city. You always have the Tampa mountain and the huge Hollywood sign.
You can continue your walk and enjoy the old town fortifications, the citadel, the White Tower, the Black Tower or Rope street (said to be the narrowest in Europe, the streets width varies between 1.09 and 1.35 meters).
If you want to enjoy the city panorama or to enjoy Brasov’s most beautiful roof top, you should hike on Tampa or you can take the cable car, the easy option. You will reach the summit in few minutes. You should definitely take your camera because you will have a picturesque panoramic view over the city and you will see the medieval watchtowers which glow over Brasov.
